Celtic Rose Gold RingCeltic Rose Gold Ring

Antique Rose gold, also known as pink gold is a mixture of pure yellow gold with a high percentage of copper. It has a very subtle and delicate color that may intensify somewhat with age due to a slight tarnishing of the copper.

Rose gold is created by increasing the copper-colored alloys mixed with the gold or stainless steel and decreasing the silver-colored alloys. 14K rose gold contains as much pure gold as 14K yellow gold but, because of the increased copper, is slightly pinker in color.

There is no such thing as “pure rose gold”; pure gold is yellow and pure copper is reddish. Although the names are often used interchangeably, the difference between red, rose, and pink gold is the copper content. The higher the copper content, the stronger the red coloration.  This makes the ring appear antique.

A Flaming Heart surrounded by Celtic art on a Pink Gold ring brings images of a time gone by where the flame of passion was supreme and living strongly in the hearts of the Celts! This Celtic Flaming Heart 18K Rose Gold plated Stainless Steel Ring is not only unusual with its rose gold plating over stainless steel fancily beautiful with its ancient passion.  Wear your Celtic Rose Gold Ring with pride.

Sterling Silver Celtic Rings

Contemporary Celtic rings are very popular. These knots appeared in repeating patterns that were used to fill borders and empty spaces in illuminated manuscripts, sculptures, and jewelry. Where did what we call “Celtic knot-work” come from? Interestingly, knot-work (and much of what we see as “Celtic Art” today) corresponds to only the latest style in a long tradition of Celtic art. Who were the Celts? Roughly, they were a non-Classical European society differentiated by language. They flourished in central and eastern Europe from the 7th Century BC, moved into the British Isles by about the 3rd Century BC, and remain there today. What, then, is “Celtic Art”? Besides the obvious definition (”art done by Celtic people”) Celtic art has several special features.

The symbolism is a continuation from prior centuries as it was often used as a symbol of protection and solace. There is no evidence to indicate that a knot had any specific philosophical or religious significance beyond perhaps the most obvious, that being the intricate capability in the work of humans, itself reflective of the intricacy of natural forms.

Wearing Sterling Silver Celtic Rings exhibits our traditional values of past generations brought forth in the modern world today. A stylish way to show a proud heritage.
